What is OvenSync?+
OvenSync is a home bakery app for Filipino cottage bakers. It replaces the spreadsheet, the notebook, and the calculator on your phone with one calm place to track ingredients, price your recipes, manage cake orders, and see your real profit margin every week.
Is OvenSync free?+
Yes. The Starter plan is free forever — up to 10 recipes and 20 orders per month, with no credit card required. The paid Baker plan (₱149 / month) unlocks unlimited recipes, orders, and stock. See the full pricing page for details.
How do I stop running out of ingredients mid-order?+
Set a restock floor for each ingredient (for example, cake flour: 2 kg). OvenSync alerts you the moment your stock dips below that line — before you accept the next order. When you save an order, the app deducts what each recipe needs and flags exactly what you’re short on, so you can plan an ingredient run on Wednesday instead of begging the sari-sari for eggs at 9pm on a Friday.
How is OvenSync different from a spreadsheet or an Etsy template?+
A spreadsheet can do the math once. OvenSync keeps it connected: change a butter price and every recipe re-prices, every margin updates, and every restock alert recalculates. Plus you get a cake order tracker, calendar view, deposit tracking, and a weekly profit chart that a spreadsheet was never going to give you.
Does OvenSync work on my phone?+
Yes. OvenSync is a mobile-first web app. It runs in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, tablet, or laptop. Save it to your home screen and it behaves like a native app — no install, no Play Store, no App Store.
I bake from home in the Philippines — is this for me?+
It’s exactly for you. OvenSync was built around the way home and cottage bakers in the Philippines actually work: small batches, peso prices, repeat customers via DM, and one baker doing all of it. It also works fine for bakers in Malaysia, Singapore, and beyond — currency is configurable.
